About The Role :
The HR Coordinator will provide essential support to the HR team and related business units on various HR-related transactions.
This role will ensure compliance with HR policies and labour legislation, assist in HR systems and processes, and manage employee relations issues.

Human Resources Coordinator, Role-Specific Accountabilities :
- Assist in the implementation of the people plan, including labour, processes, and tools, as assigned by the Manager, HR Business Partnerships.
- Support communication and training on HR systems, programs, and processes to address functional area's HR needs and gaps.
- Ensure compliance with HR policies and labour legislation within your business unit.
- Track, identify, and report on Employee Relations issues and trends to HR Advisors, escalating key trends and metrics to the Manager, HR Business Partnerships.
- Research and share employment and labour law updates and industry best practices with the HR team.
- Process HR transactions in Workday, including leaves of absence and terminations, and support leaders with transactions as required.
- Prepare and review written documentation, such as termination letters, reports, investigation notes, and metrics.
Human Resources Coordinator, Knowledge & Skills Requirements / Qualifications :
- Bilingual in French and English.
- College or University degree in HR, Business, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of customer service experience.
- Ability to follow instructions thoroughly and execute with accuracy.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to meet deadlines.
- Proficient with technology, including Microsoft Office products with intermediate Excel skills.
- Proven problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve issues effectively.
- Responsive and effective communicator, providing prompt and accurate information.
Assets :
- HR designation such as CHRP or CHRL, either in progress or completed.
- Previous experience utilizing a ticketing software.
- Previous experience using an HRIS, such as Workday.
