POSITION DESCRIPTION :

The Havre des Cantons residence offers a friendly atmosphere where it is stimulating to work. We have a dedicated and caring team for autonomous seniors and those with a slight loss of autonomy.

Schedule : a permanent full-time position 10 / 14 at night with one weekend out of 2

ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Assist and / or accompany residents in getting around
• Contribute to the adjustment of a residents' action plan based on their observations
• Contribute to the development of a residentsè action plan based on their observations
• Distribute medication in pill organizers and provide some invasive care (as needed and provided you have the necessary training)
• Respond to all emergency situations
• While interacting with them, report any noticeable changes in a residents mental or physical health to the on-call nurse.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS :

• Formation of PDSB
• Up-to-date CPR / AED general first aid training
• Law 90 training (an asset)
