GFL Environmental is looking for a Hydrovac Operator to support our Commercial lines of business out of our Bradford site. Key Responsibilities :

• Operate Vacuum / Hydrovac Truck.
• Operate Box Truck or Tractor Trailer.
• Power washing and High Pressure Water blasting as required.
• Line snaking, Drain and Pipe Inspections as required.
• Operate Pick-up truck, utility trailer, forklift, excavator, bobcat, etc.
• Maintain cleanliness of Tools and Equipment and Industrial Services Shop.
• Industrial cleaning of chemical non-hazardous and hazardous waste.
• Collection of hazardous and non-hazardous goods.
• Complete all necessary paperwork and government documents
• Digging holes and trenches
• Securing of open excavation
• Operating equipment and tools
• Site preparation and clean-up as directed
• Securing and safely loading / unloading vehicles with supplies
• Secure work area and set up traffic control

Knowledge, Skills and Competencies :

• Valid DZ or AZ license.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with ability to perform routine vehicle maintenance.
• Working hours anywhere from around 5 : 30 AM - 6 : 30 PM Monday - Friday with on-call requirements once every few months on Saturday
• Comfortable with 80% labour and 20% driving.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Strong work ethic.
• Professional / mature demeanor under stressful situations.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Will be required to work both indoors and outdoors.
• Manual dexterity, ability to lift 75+ lbs required.
• Overtime as required.
