Job Description

We are seeking a full-time Monday-Friday, night shift driver. As an AZ Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of metal materials to and from our recycling facilities.

What you're responsible for :

• Operate an AZ-class commercial vehicle to transport metal materials to and from designated locations, ensuring compliance with traffic laws and company policies
• Safely load and unload metal materials onto the truck using appropriate equipment and secure the load to prevent shifting or damage during transit
• Perform manual tarping if necessary
• Perform routine pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck, ensuring that it is in good working condition
• Complete accurate and thorough records of deliveries and any other required documentation

Qualifications

To join our team :

• Valid AZ driver's license with a clean CVOR and Drivers Abstract
• Experience driving 18 speed manual transmission is required
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an AZ Driver
• Must be physically fit to hand tarp 40 and 53yd bins
• Customer service-oriented with strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Physical stamina and the ability to perform loading and unloading activities as required
• Familiarity with metal recycling processes and materials is an asset
