About

The Assistant Site Super will be responsible for assisting with all onsite activities required to successfully complete internal projects on schedule and within budget.

This includes maintaining the highest quality while administering good construction safety practices with all on-site activities.

THE DAY TO DAY

  • Perform heavy lifting and manual labor tasks such as carrying materials, digging trenches, and loading / unloading construction materials.
  • Operate machinery and equipment such as forklifts, power tools, and hand tools safely and effectively.
  • Install and repair construction components such as drywall, siding, or roofing materials.
  • Assist in demolition activities, including removing debris and clearing work areas.
  • Perform site cleanup duties, ensuring all waste and hazardous materials are disposed of properly.
  • Work in various weather conditions and environments, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
  • Attend site meetings as required,
  • Maintain an organized job site,
  • Maintain positive relationships with contractors, suppliers, and other employees,
  • Adhere to construction schedule and safety policies,
  • Perform other duties as directed.

WHAT YOU NEED :

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Possess a valid driver’s license.
  • High degree of resourcefulness, flexibility, and adaptability.
  • Proficient in reading and understanding architectural, structural, and mechanical drawings.
  • Strong customer service skills with a demonstrated ability to establish relationships with internal and external partners.
  • Ability to be a self-starter and work independently under minimal supervision.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage priorities under pressure with careful attention to detail.
  • Minimum 5 years of construction experience.
