As an Apprentice Service Technician, you will work under the guidance of experienced technicians to gain the necessary skills and knowledge to perform maintenance, repairs, and installations on various equipment and systems.
You will assist in diagnosing issues, performing routine maintenance, and ensuring customer satisfaction. This role is ideal for individuals who are eager to learn, have a strong interest in technical work, and are looking to build a career in the service industry.
Responsibilities
As part of the Operations Manager's team, the Apprentice Service Technician will develop expertise through the following key responsibilities :
- Work closely with experienced technicians to learn the trade, assist in repairs, and perform tasks as directed.
- Participate in hands-on training to develop technical skills and knowledge of tools, equipment, and industry practices.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks and minor repairs on equipment under supervision.
- Interact with customers in a professional manner, assisting with inquiries and explaining basic service details when needed.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Assist in completing work orders, service reports, and maintaining accurate records of work performed.
- Keep tools and equipment clean, organized, and in good working condition.
- Actively participate in training sessions, workshops, and any required certifications or courses.
- Work effectively with other team members to complete tasks and provide high-quality service.

- Basic Mechanical Skills : Familiarity with basic tools and mechanical principles.
- Basic electrical knowledge : Circuits, AC / DC voltage, how to use a Multimeter

- Communication Skills : Ability to communicate effectively with team members and customers.
- Driver’s License : A valid driver’s license may be required, depending on the industry.
