We are currently hiring for 1st to 4th Year Apprentice and Journeyperson Electricians to travel from Nanaimo to Victoria, BC and the surrounding areas.

Compensation for this role ranges from $19.79 / hour to $30.69 / hour for apprentices and $36 / hour for Journeypersons, health and dental benefits, and RRSP matching after one year.

When you factor these together the total compensation ranges from $22.13 / hour to $38.83 / hour.

Responsibilities

• Conduit bending
• Reading and interpreting drawings and schematics
• Drilling and cable-pulling
• Cutting in and splicing switches / receptacles / lights
• Use of standard construction power tools

Qualifications

• Must be a registered apprentice through ITA and have successfully completed a minimum of your first year of schooling in the electrical field
• Electrical field experience is required
• Commercial / residential construction experience an asset
• Basic hand tools and cordless power tools
• Valid class 5 driver’s license
• Adequate knowledge of the CEC
• Willing to work out of town, longer shifts, and / or evening shifts.
