Here at Contract Personnel, we are recruiting an experienced Agricultural Service Technician to join a well-established, market leading machinery supplier.

As a successful candidate, you will be required to work as part of well trained and experienced team, based at our client’s Suffolk branch.

Reporting to the Service Manager, you will be expected to ensure maintenance and repair are carried out on machinery sold by our client, within the allocated region.

Essential Skills & Experience :

Ability to diagnose faults, then successfully carry out required maintenance on agricultural (but not limited to) machinery

Knowledge and ability to diagnose electrical and hydraulic faults, in line with the latest software packages

Successfully complete any repairs, whether it be chargeable, under warranty, or completing internal repairs

Consistently ensuring all documentation is in order such as complete job cards in full, mileage cards, time cards

Maintain steady relations between customers and suppliers

Prepared to work on solo jobs, as well as performing larger jobs within a team

Constantly adhere to health and safety protocols

A general level of health and fitness is required

Self-motivated and able to finish tasks within a timely manner

Maintain a business level of appearance (uniform, equipment etc all must be clean)

Competent with basic computer systems (Word, Excel)

Extremely strong customer service skills customer facing role

A valid driving license with no more than 3 points

Additional Information :

Contract Permanent, full time

Location Suffolk

Hours 39 hours per week, Monday to Thursday, 8.00am to 17.00pm and Friday 8.00am to 16.00pm

1 hour unpaid lunch each day

Overtime paid at 1.5x upon completion of 39 hour week

Salary Competitive, based on experience, paid hourly, plus company car
