Altis Recruitment is grateful to partner with an organization within the Broader Public Sector to support the recruitment of an Administrative Assistant for a 3 month contract.
The ideal candidate will possess strong Microsoft Office skills and thrive in a fast-paced office environment. The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for formatting various documents, tracking invoices, managing multiple inboxes and calendars in Outlook.
This position requires to work 100% on-site and it is a contract opportunity until the end of September 2024 with a possibility of extention.
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Format various documents with keen attention to detail
- Maintain and update office records and files
- Track and manage invoices
- Assist with scheduling and calendar management
- Provide general administrative support to the team
- Handle correspondence and communications
- Coordinate office activities and operations to ensure efficiency
- Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports
Requirements :
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
- High attention to detail, responsible for document formatting
- Excellent organizational abilities
- Proven experience in a busy office setting
- Independent worker and adept at juggling multiple tasks
- Experience working within an Administrative Assistant role for at least 1+ years.
- Experience working within the Broader Public Sector is considered an asset
