Accounts Receivable Specialist (Hybrid)

Position Overview

Reportingto the Accounts Receivable Manager, the Accounts Receivable Specialist performsmultiple tasks related to the accounts receivable.

This position is a full-time role based out of our BC distribution center at 15030 54A Avenue, Surrey, BC. The position is eligible for a hybrid work arrangement, working 3 days in the office and 2 days from home.

Priority will be given to candidates who has business fluency in French.

KeyResponsibilities

• Full cycle accounts receivable
• Run daily invoices.
• Monitoring & maintaining up to date records to customer accounts& reviewing accounts in arrears to ensure appropriate action.
• Apply daily cash receipts and process credit card payments.
• Initiate communication with customers on overdue payments (phone / email)
• Process new customer credit applications.
• Respond to inquiries from both internal and external customers.
• Identify high risk accounts and notify management.
• Perform account reconciliations as needed.
• Analysis of customer accounts to resolve billingissues.
• Verify and reconcile input documentation.
• Assist with month end closing.
• Process monthly finance charge as applicable.
• Process monthly customer statements
• Other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Solid communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to speak French is preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in an accounts receivableand collection role.
• Experience maintaining spreadsheets and trackingsystems, including entering, updating, and retrieving data; and ensuring dataintegrity.
• Knowledge of standard A / R policies, procedures,and regulations.
• High level of initiative and problem-solvingskills.
• Intermediate Excel and Microsoft Word mail mergeskills.
• Detail-oriented with a high level of integrity,accuracy, and organizational skills.

Like to Have :

• Experience using Microsoft Dynamics Navision orsimilar ERP system.
• Fluency in French

Compensation :

• Salary range between $50,000 $60,000 based on level of experience
• Company paid benefit program
• 3 weeks' paid vacation days
