Responsibilities :

All aspects of accounts payable, including :

• Receiving vendor invoices and matching them to approved purchase orders
• Post all open items in A / P on a daily basis
• Prepare weekly accounts payable cheques.
• Assist in monthly closing

Analyze vendor accounts and request for missing information.

Answer all vendor inquiries.

Prepare daily deposit reconciliations

Answering phones : directing calls, paging

Cross-training for other accounting department functions (illness / vacation coverage).

Maintain a professional appearance and a neat work area

Other duties as assigned.

Experience :

Accounting knowledge and experience required. Preferably looking for college diploma in accounting program or university courses, or well-rounded experience.

Previous work experience in a dealership environment, particularly automotive, would be considered a definite asset

Computer software used : Word, Excel and Outlook. Prior CDK / ADP software experience considered an asset but not required.
