Your future duties and responsibilities :

The Accounting AR Specialist will play a critical role in the financial team, focusing on accounts receivable management, daily reconciliation, and supporting month-end closing.

This position requires advanced accounting and analysis skills, proficiency in Excel, and excellent communication abilities.

  • Manage accounts receivable processes, including invoicing, collections, and daily reconciliation.
  • Prepare and post journal entries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Be an active participant in the month-end process, providing timely and accurate reports regarding revenue, cost, and allocations.
  • Reconcile AR accounts and prepare trial balances and financial statements.
  • Ensure timely collection of payments and manage follow-ups on outstanding invoices.
  • Assist in the month-end closing process, including preparing various financial reports.
  • Monitor and follow up on outstanding invoices.
  • Implement effective AR strategies to ensure timely collections.
  • Utilize advanced analytical skills to provide insights and recommendations for accounting improvements.
  • Manage special requests , ad hoc analyses and collaborate on in-house projects.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role :

  • Bachelor s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field and accounting designation (CPA)
  • 5-7 years of experience in bookkeeping, invoicing, AR management, and financial analysis
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
  • Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy
  • Ability to provide innovative accounting ideas and solutions
