22 / hr - $24.25 / hr Position Summary The Barrack (Accommodations) Concierge is responsible for enhancing the lodging experience for military members who are staying in base accommodations.
This role involves coordinating accommodations, ensuring the upkeep of lodging facilities, and providing excellent customer service.
The concierge serves as the primary point of contact for military members, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and facilitating a smooth and comfortable stay.
Job Responsibilities Provide superior customer service to clients Read and understand Maritime Pacific Single Quarter’s Regulations Act as building Fire Warden Complete check-in and check-out of clients Complete rounds of building Complete damage reports Submit work orders with Real Property Operations Maintain key control Maintain building safety equipment (first aid kits, eye wash stations, emergency showers, earthquake survival kits) Prepare linen exchanges Room Cleaning Report to Base Accommodation Officer regarding needs for linen, furniture, supplies, etc.
Use Microsoft Office suite of software including : MS Outlook, MS Excel, MS Work, MS Access, MS PowerPoint Extensively use Base Accommodation software (MS Access and QuickQuarters) Use POS equipment to process debit / credit payments Liaise with outside agencies such as Preventative Medicine, Real Property Operations, DND Fire Services, and other units to ensure reservations needs are understood Execute emergency procedures (fire, active shooter, earthquake, building evacuations, etc.
