Position :

Grade 7 / 8 Classroom Teacher and Grade 3 / 4 Math

Required teaching qualifications :

A valid Ontario College of Teachers Certificate

A valid Certification of Registration from the Ontario College of Teachers

Primary, Junior and Intermediate Qualifications

Position Criteria :

Knowledge of Ministry Curriculum and Assessment documents

Demonstrated experience with Apple based software and Mobile devices (iPad / MacBook / iMac)

Evidence of understanding of varied learners with a focus on at-risk’ students

Evidence of supporting Literacy and Numeracy from a whole school perspective

Evidence of integration of technology for the documentation and evaluation of student work ·

Ability to work as part of a school team and to communicate effectively

Demonstrated ability to utilize EDSBY to support student learning and guardian communication
